  1. Here´s my choice. 7 T and adjustable length up to 700 mm.
  2. I must make clearify, that i do not sell any Faxes Products. I just translated their prices on their homepage Logsplitters Logcutters and Conveyors for log Faxes Fabriks AB into GBP (£). But i know Faxes products are very good and reliable and sold for very attractive prices in Scandinavia. /Stefan
  3. Here are maybe also some interesting models which are common in Sweden. Prices starts at 620£ for 5,0m length and 100 mm band width. And from 940 £ for a 5,0m lenth and 200 mm band width.
  4. Sorry the last link was wrong. Here's the correct one: Välkommen till Bala Agri AB
  5. Looks fine, but maybe a little to expensive..? As a Swede i recomend Faxes and Bala's conveyors. Faxes Fabriks AB Svensktillverkade vedklyvar kapsågar och transportörer sedan 1935 or Welcome to Flexus Balasystem AB - Flexus Balasystem
  6. Japa is a very good choice. If 700 is not enough, go for 435 or 485 :-)
  7. Kellfri is well knowned in Sweden. Cheap stuff, produced in China. Works good for some, but they have got a lot of complaints in the Swedish forums. I prefer the brand Faxes instead. A Little more expensive but still good prices and much better quality.
  8. I think many of those horizontal splitters looks extremely powerful and also expensive. Isn't such a splitter enough with 1,1m and 10 T?
  9. The snow comes and goes and so does the stock of logs
  10. I use a log elevator direct after my logsplitter to move away all splitted pieces and to be more efficient. As soon as the first piece is splitted you just continue with next one and they are all pushing on each other until they fall in the elevator. The attached picture looks a little dangerous if you are standing to near the logsplitter
  11. I think 7ton is enough in most cases. Of course knots and moisture can make it harder or maybe force you to re-position the piece a little bit. See this attached image which a copied from a forum. He uses a typical Swedish Faxes 7 ton logsplitter for this massive piece
  12. My contribution to the log piles´
  13. How much is the VAT on such equipment? We have 25% and many change name on the receipt to equipment which you don't have to pay VAT for :-)
  14. In Sweden those logconveyors are very common. They are made in Sweden and has good quality. (I bought my Faxes conveyor direct from factory..) But also the Finnish firewood processors are pretty common like Japa and Hakke Pilke. But they belong to another price class :-)
