I prefer the 357XP as its physically a smaller saw with equally as much grunt.

 

Not at all; 341 maybe but the 361 is another leaque more powerful than the husky. Yep, Husq still use one piston ring and Stihl 2. Some think 2 is old fashioned and unneccessary but if experience is anything to go by, 2 rings lasts longer, simple as that.

I have run a few 361's and would keep my 357 any day of the week,the 341 is a dog in comparison to bothl! if i was thinning and i have spent a day or hallf on each i would go back to the 357 every time,evan in hard wood logging i think the 357 is faster.

Totally agree mate. Anyway, id rather but my chainsaws from a proper chainsaw manufacturer than a washing machine manufacturer like electrolux:sneaky2:Stihl all the way:001_tongue:

Id also rather the 357 over the 361. That said, I run a 441 as my everyday saw.
