I have velcro top and bottom straps, love them... comfy and light. Not tried the leather bottoms so can't compare.

Another vote for the above combo.

Haven't tried the all Velcro version so can't comment on them.

Velcro top and bottom here. I find them comfy even though i'm not an every day climber. Certainly nicer than others i've used.

Superb spikes...got the velcro calves and ankle...on tight they are amazing....great gaffs...stick to the tree like glue:)
