Beginners climbing guide, hints, tips and general climbing techniques

Just lately there seems to be a few threads started by beginners and climbers who are taking there climbing a step further, so thought it would be a great idea :blushing: to put together a thread dedicated to helping these lads out, not really got much planned as in picture/video format but was just going to leave it open to lads who want to ask questions regarding getting started or wanting move into different climbing styles, different gear and so on, my first thing is to try and get a few climbers on here to help out we're they can!

Good idea or not?

Thanks in advance

Great idea mate, would save a lot of repeated threads. If it takes off might be good of it was a sticky

Thanks Dan,

The repeating was my thoughts exactly, just thought it would be a good idea to create a thread and try and avoid to many threads, I do appreciate that making a thread of there own could be better for them in a way that the answers they get will be dedicated to there question, but once its rolling hopefully the thread will have most questions covered for the above:thumbup1:

Just ask the questions here, I'm sure as a collective, AT members can answer most questions:thumbup1: Maybe get a mod to adjust the title to make it clear this thread is the place to ask?

what do you mean by arms pulled out?

Are your arms knackered? have you tried one of the more advance hitch systems?

Hitch climber, spiderjack etc etc?
