I love the black and green sirius on kern. I've not tried the red and green.

Not enjoying the Sirius too much on Cougar Blue.

I've tied the Hitch Hiker VT knot and it is very smooth then binds up, then smooth.

I've added a wrap, then another and no difference. I guess I'll try other knots before chucking it in the bin.

I found on kern the sirius took a little time to find it's shape and then it was fine. I am tight though and the mind can make you believe anything if it saves £4!!!

Love it Rich. I wouldn't want to use it for DdRT as it feels skinny and hard in the hands but it's a dream in my Hitch Hiker compared to the old Poison Hivee.

I think I may have been mentioning that for about a year ;)

The less stretch the better for SRT.

Do you guys enjoy the constant tweaking and adjusting? It's what made me switch to mechanical, I really like the idea of the HH but the constant adjustments put me off a wee bit.. Or have you found the right set up and are trying things for fun ? :)

I have found that cheap old Marlow 8mm Double Braid Works really well, basically the softer the friction cord the better. I tie my knot at the start of a climb and it is easy to judge where to tie it. The thing even self tends when I am climbing the tree itself.

Took a few tries to find the right hitch cord and tightness.

Now it stays on my climb line with the ArbPro attached, just pull it out and go.

I don't enjoy tweaking stuff, I can't be bothered.

Therefore, I never fiddle about. Except now I'm forced to because I couldn't find Armor Pruss. However, after a tantrum on the first day with this Sirius, I'm fine with it now.

Haha if I ever fiddle it just makes everything worse and then makes me angry, I guess no one is selling armor pruss anymore? Shame if so. I quite like Sirius nice and cheap :)
