bit of a strange one

hey guys

 

im now working for a company doing rail clearence but that really has nothing to do with what im asking.

 

Ive been thinking about getting myself a few homers here and there but i have got really no idea where to start.

 

so if you could give me some pointers if poss

The term for 'homers' in this part of yorkshire is 'Guvvie jobs'. Being from Cumbernauld myself and now working in yorkshire, when I said I was "doing a homer" to the guys I work with, I got a lot of blank looks. It took me a while to figure out what govvie jobs meant.
