Birch Firewood

We have a spare load of Birch firewood, in 12 foot lengths, semi seasoned in the round, approx 7 months in stack.

3-10 inch diameter all fairly straight ideal processor material.

can arrange haulage at cost from York North Yorkshire YO61 1QJ. artic load or eight wheeler whichever was prefered.

£47.50 + vat/tonne road side.

Being vat registered everything is looked at nett, i dont pocket that 20% aswell pal.

£2.50 extra per tonne on what i normaly sell, as is semi seasoned.

 

I can see where he is coming from as being non VAT Reg it makes it a bit expensive, and being birch it's a pretty light timber with a short shelf life so needs shifting pretty quick. I'm sure you will have no problem selling it though.

light dry timber, means you get more for your money, same volume less ££:thumbup:

I agree but it does go off quickly, so needs moving on, I have some that is a year old and is already going off inside, the stuff I have that's 2 years old is almost rotten.
