I know, I had a guy ring and order a double load of dry seasoned logs, he insisted they must be dry, I delivered them and I asked where he was going to store them, he pointed to a corner of his yard and says "just there, I don't cover them I just leave them uncovered"!!!

I have had a couple of calls this year asking if they can see the log showroom???

 

Also last year I had to teach someone how to build a fire as they were trying to light a brick sized lump of ash with a match and phoned to say my logs wouldn't burn. I've just got this stove but it's bigger than Mrs Jones one at number 16 you know.

I've got a neighbour who used to have my logs and now pays twice as much for half as much and now she telling me how to burn logs. Wouldn't be to bad but she's been burning logs for less than a year and i've been selling for 18 years. But what do i know

I'm pretty ruthless- if there's a pain in the arse who moans about perfectly good logs, I won't deal with them again. Its funny as f**k when the moaner phones up wanting more logs, and I tell them that I won't supply them!

Had an old lady complain that her stove would not produce any heat. When visited it turned out her log store was her pond. She said the wood burns to fast unless it has 2 weeks in the pond.
