Good looking job, be interesting to see the butt too. How come you didnt opt for a crane? Also can i add some photos of an old beech i have done some work on?

A crane would would of been my ideal scenario but the price would of scared the client to death

Can't believe a thread like this has turned into some of you tits digging at each other. Do it on pm coz some of us wanna read the tree work stuff not your little girlie handbag match. It will be a great shame if you lot get this thread taken down as there's some good pics and opinions.

Well said Frankie.

It's being followed and if need be will be stripped back down to its bare bones via moderation, especially as Ross has gone out of his way to instigate and keep going a very interesting (albeit emotive) thread.

Looking forward to the next chapter Ross :thumbup1: lets hope those who prefer to rub ego respect your effort here.

Day 4

Not a particularly gd day

Removed all the foliage and head no problem then my brand new 2.5t strop strop **** itself when lowering some log and we clipped a listed wall at the cost of £600

So yeah not a happy bunny especially as I had a 10t strop in my lowering kit

Still have half a day chogging monster biscuits

Have almost convinced client to leave stump at 15ft

Sorry must dash I have a strong drink calling
