I think the explanation behind the new pm messages is due to a problem we had with outgoing emails last week. This has been fixed and its possible the email notifications you are now receiving and for pm's you have already received during that period.

when logging in today the user name and password box in the top right hand corner came up again instead of the welcome, unread posts, last visit info etc, but when I clicked one of the tabs at the top of the page then I get the welcome etc so it seems that I am actually logged in.

Apologies for the possibly confusing post - I am c..p at IT :001_rolleyes:

 

Have you tried clicking remember me.

That is a rather strange problem. What happened when you did try to reply? Obviously you had no problems replying to this thread.

still can not read new messages !! i was noified that i had a new pm so tried to open it and all the posts i had deleted cm back but i still cant see the new PM regarding a ranger tipper !!!

 

I know I have said this a lot but I need to make sure. Have you cleared your cache?
