There isn't really a fixed price. The quote is based on how busy you are, what you judge as a fair hourly rate and at the end of the day a quote of £X will seem fair to some customers and expensive to others......

 

However that said £40 should cover it... it looks like a simple job ,no ladders expect the small bit at the end.

It's such an easy job it's laughable. If it was an old lady how could you possibly charge over £50, or anyone else for that matter. Daylight robbery if you charge more. All this I'm a tree surgeon i need to charge xyz is rubbish. Establish before you go to quote for the job if its what you do, and if you decide to go you should explain why you would have to charge more than a gardener. Jump of your high horses any one who thinks its worth more. We all know its 30 mins work max. Greed, it's a killer.
