In the short term - keep moving gently.  Bad backs seize up so you need to keep the muscles on the go a bit.  Sitting still, especially at a computer, is absolutely the worst for the back.

Day 4 on a job, all going perfect til I came across this at the top of a T shaped Scots pine. No idea beforehand that this rotten cavity was there. Had to totally change my plan of lowering big lumps. Got there in the end but took way longer than planned. Still on time to finish the job though. IMG_20181213_113512.jpegIMG_20181213_101708.jpeg
