Dismantled a dead redwood today. It was dry as a bone. First proper dead tree I've done so it was a good confidence boost,

Well done Timon!...what is happening to that lovely seasoned timber?

 

 

Thanks Paul.!Sadly it's getting burned. I'm seriously thinking of getting an Alaskan or similar. The lads that do furniture restoration could make some ace pieces with some of the timber we cut down.

I think I do recall seeing it on your thread. Looks like the holy grail. 🙂
