WoodED

Recommended Posts

Haha! All sorts. I say removing small dead crap, pruning a jap maple, reducing some red cedars from the bucket, yesterday, reducing a plane from over a back yard, then removing some crappy vines, then dead wooded that awesome oak. Yes I seem to get all the horrible big takedowns but it's always different and a challenge. Gotta love my crew of two. We work very well together as it should be :)

A ancient oak failure we had to clear up this evening. Glad I was able to borrow the farms merlot. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1436564943.586604.jpg.c65ce53ac642b04a06845fdadb3fd690.jpg

We moved the timber into a bit of woodland copse and left it as there was a beehive and heavily decayed so good for the bugs and beasties. Also I left the stump as it was. That and I didn't fancy messing around with a 6ft stump.

Thank you, I think I'd always prefer to go lighter than the spec, but it would reach a point where I'd be taking next to nothing off!

I was lucky to have a couple of cracking guys on the ground to help with traffic spotting and the final fiddle.

Lovely work Adam, what was the spec?

Let me guess, this one took 20mins with a tea break in between?

Cheers mate you too.

Took 3 1/2 hours then we felled a failed beach tree. I'll be putting a video up soon :)

Spec was to alleviate root pressure so was kind of down to my own discretion, approximately 1m-3m on all laterals:)
