It’s a monster. I’d start with a full week hire and not have anything planned for the weekend. Or the following week, besides a shoulder massage. 
 

Actually no. I just wouldn’t do it. I don’t have the resilience. You’d need pictures of your loved ones in the basket to make sure you didn’t jump out.

ok - so if I couln't do it on my own in 4 days it would have been added to the list of jobs I've underestimated,

can imagine being absolutely gutted by day four with 75 ton of green waste still strewn about and ragged bits of hedge still needing straightening

Nature isn't fair to all - some rise to be captains of industry, other have to raid the Tesco food skip at night

…. but, per square metre, this must be the most inefficient configuration of hedge / drive / lawn / shed I’ve ever seen.

Its a nice neat hedge, impressive size and now it looks bang on.

I quite agree with you it looks bang on. 

But looking were house is has no view at lovely countryside.
