Removed this and about half a ton more wood from this place. Not clean or light. Everything was like handling greasy poles. Came home with damp feet. I was stood ankle deep for a bit though!

Hi all.... I'm a gardener/ landscaper in the North East of Scotland. This is my first post....

Have started looking after my local distillery which was largely closed down for 50 years - as you can imagine, there is quite a bit of cutting back required!!! I run a few assorted saws, ranging from Stihl 075av to my most modern saw - a Jonsered 625!!! Looking forward to posting some pics on here and communicating with you all...... by the way, my job today was logging about 4 tons of 140 yr old red pine barrel runners for my own use.......

I don't know if this is a common occurrence..... but my wife asked me if I could make 'less noise' today when i was log cutting.......???

Can you not just switch your saw to silenced mode?

Better still get her to help she wont notice the noise if she's getting involved :001_tt2:

Second day on this line of conifers, stripped the inside off them, and sectioned down around 8 off them. The rest will be removed in a few weeks when we have the lane closed got traffic lights for a week.

You should drop them all one day and get a massive chipper with a grab to eat them the next .

They want the firewood down to six inches and cut in to 3ft 6" lengths and stacked at the farm next door to dry:rolleyes:. Plus they all have to be sectioned felled. Would make my life also easier if I could do it your way though.
