  1. Depends what cut size you are looking for. I run a few Efcos from 22" down to 18", and have been very happy with them - the 3 in 1 alloy bodied ones I would definitely recommend. I pick up most of my gear second hand or ex display if I can, as I can fix most things on them. I also use a 21" Craftsman mulcher which I picked up 5 yrs ago for £50 - push only but has HUGE rear wheels which makes her easier to push.... I replaced a couple of Kaaz machines with the Efco's - they were good (esp the Honda engines) but I found them HEAVY!!! For rough stuff I have a couple of John Deere 2 strokers, which although they aren't used that much, always bring a smile to my face!
  2. I don't know if this is a common occurrence..... but my wife asked me if I could make 'less noise' today when i was log cutting.......???
  3. Hi all.... I'm a gardener/ landscaper in the North East of Scotland. This is my first post.... Have started looking after my local distillery which was largely closed down for 50 years - as you can imagine, there is quite a bit of cutting back required!!! I run a few assorted saws, ranging from Stihl 075av to my most modern saw - a Jonsered 625!!! Looking forward to posting some pics on here and communicating with you all...... by the way, my job today was logging about 4 tons of 140 yr old red pine barrel runners for my own use.......
