Few photos from a poplar last wk. It was huge and covered in ivy, crappy weather as well. Took 2 1/2 days to get down. A lot of it was lowered. We got it down to about 8 metres and then winched the leaning butt over. As can be seen quite a mess on the ground but I only had one groundy one of the days.

This oaks been down for 2 years, i was hoping it would pop back up but no joy, I'll go back with the tirfor on Friday.
