I think we will just chip and spray the brash so as not to cover the emerging bluebells etc, the cord will be stacked and the trucks left in situ to rot where the tree has stood for the last eighty years, it's s tree we used to climb for training years ago. I think it suffered as s result of power line clearance on the top banks surrounding this woodland. Unfortunately all we can get is the tracked chipper (timber wolf) and alpine tractor into the wood.

That'll do it alright....Sad news it was an old friend but as you say,past work may have become it's downfall..shame.
