I think it's a case of getting the old table salt out again, for poisoning the stumps!

Archives of Toxicology, Volume 86, Number 5 - SpringerLink

And if you can't be bothered to read it, a quick synopsis:

Monsanto's Roundup is toxic to human DNA even when diluted to concentrations 450-fold lower than used in agricultural applications

Glyphosate (G) is the largest selling herbicide worldwide; the most common formulations (Roundup, R) contain polyoxyethyleneamine as main surfactant. Recent findings indicate that G exposure may cause DNA damage and cancer in humans.

I worked with a twit knapsacking trees 10 years ago he asked a question whilst spraying then gestured at me with the lance and sprayed my only non protected part, my face! Everyone says" Its only soap." I never believe that because every pesticide/herbicide has come and gone. Why?:sneaky2:

I have said it for years, but here you go again, it should not be used to kill stumps anyway!

The concentration need to kill a stump is way above the designed useage of Glyphosate, as it is a FOLIAR acting herbicide.

Yes, it works, yes its on the list, but also YES it will do you harm if you are exposed to it regularly.

Do you know if there is a healthier alternative to Glyphosate that is effective at killing stumps?

gyphosate!..I keep getting call-backs to repoison stumps, have tried large doses of salt same problem. I'm going to try and get some Amcide from France....failing that...its going to be an SBK/diesel 'agent orange' mix :(
