The only reason to do the 7.5 is age, i waited a few months to turn 21 and went straight for the big rigid at the exact same price, found it relativly easy, go for the bigger class, opens more doors :001_smile:

I liked the Iveco at my last work, found the low gearing great when towing 2t, but diddnt like the high revs when going over 55

True. I'm sure the goal post keep in changing with ages. I thought I could do the rigid but not have to wait a year and a half to do that!

Sorry for the de rail

arnt the 3.5t very heavy as a chasis cab ?

Kerb weight of 35C is slightly more than transit chassis cab at 1925kg for the 3450mm wheelbase but is mostly scores on towing capacity 3500kg on paper, I've driven plenty of ldv, transit, lt35s but not an Iveco.

I'd go down this route with a tacho for those jobs a bit further from home and avoid the O licence.

Last week, I weighed our 2008 Transit 350 MWB with a 4ft high alloy tipper body. No tools, 1/2 tank of fuel and no passengers. just over 2400kg empty

I love to know what a Iveco Crew cab with the standard steel body weighs in at - must be close on 3T and the standard cab with a steel body tipper can't be much less.
