What are you wearing while you climb?

Ok I know most of us on here are wearing on our legs with the exception of other country's having different h&s rules, but what I want to know is what your wearing on top?

Do you wear old clothes you don't use for best anymore?

Do you buy clothes for work that were cheap...ish?

Or do you go the whole hog and buy clothes designed for climbing?

I bought a pack of vest tops from some cheap shop and normally wear an old t-shirt over the top then I either wear an old hoody, also a army fleece depending which is clean, or my waterproof regarter jacket, I paid a little for but it does the job.....and it's a little cheaper than the arb makes out there!

So are you a classy climber or a .............? Not so classy climber?

That's quite a good question in these days of ...must have everything.

I wear old clothes and see the classy climbers as consumer fashion victims.:001_smile:

It varies between old t-shirts ...plus old fleece I've had for years and very rarely the old army rain coat gets pulled out but don't normally bother with it unless it's hoolying down.

I get tshirts printed with logo on cheap and just got a softshell jacket with embroided logo stuff on cheap. My thing is you work more than you play so may as well spend money on work get ups. I give away some tshirts to clients and people i work with i have gotten work cause of them so they pay for them selves really

Orange cotton T shirt with company logo and HiFlex until they wear out and I can try another type of trouser.

Summertime, green Rohan expedition trousers if doing silky work or a limited amount of ariel saw work. C'saw pants just far too hot for me and I prefer to deal with the risk of a chainsaw bite than get one anyway due to lack of concentration from heat exhaustion.

I change T shirt 4+ times a day.

We tend to wear the same style and colour clothes.

Ground work, I rarely use c'saw pants as I tend to run too hot.

I think a 'corporate image' is important.
