Vancouver. We were looking at a place called Richmond, do you know it?

Yup I'm in the okanagan Valley about 4 hours away. Vancouver/Richmond is like a giant city, compared to where I live. Google Vernon/Kelowna B.C. and that's what my surroundings look like. There's definetly opportunity in the big city's I'm just such an ass I need a little privacy/space otherwise I'd probably end up in jail. Good luck if that's what you choose to do, any questions fire away, I've been down to the big smoke many times.

I think emigration is a sound idea Lee, only wish I'd thought of it earlier. The more of you that emigrate the better it'll be for me!! More work, less competition, better rates!! cool, go for it Lee.:bawling:

i think its a great idea, im in the process of going to nz for 6 months but to be honest i think me and my girl will stay there if its as rosey as they say it is......

and im sure its a excellent place to live, all ive heard is good about going to work there.

Moved out to nz just over 4 years ago and really cant see any reason to leave. work is cruizy, arborists on the occupational shortage list, weather heaps better than back home, theres afew dodgy companies but its gettin better. if anyone needs some contacts or jobs,etc.. give us a bell before you come out and im sure il be able to pass some numbers on

if i ever emigrate it would be the states...maybe hawaii. my wifes american so settlement wouldnt be a problem. like lee, the only thing that really stops me is taking the kids away from their grandparents.

Just been outside for a fag and i've been thinking how i'd be rather night fishing on some warm Aussie beach, rather than taking my son fishing to the local ditch in the freezing cold, fishing for something I can't even eat lol, like I am tomorrow

I would love to go to Vancouver. next on my list would be NewZealand.

It's my wife that wont move though. We have it pretty good up here, and the grandparents live close by.
