Ok so looking at setting my honeymoon in Scotland. But where?

A few on here I know live and work up there so where is good?

We want a week in almost solitary confinement with to hint around us, the other would like a log cabin type place. Open fire, nice views all the trimmings?

I'll fly the flag for the north east , much much drier than the west for starters !!

Royal deeside is stunning , you have little places like Aboyne then into Ballater then finally Braemar which will you will love . Stunning walks round Loch Muick and the precipitous Lochnagar if your feeling brave !!

If its definitely the west coast how about landing on the beach at Barra in a puddle jumper aircraft ?? Just be ewe and the sheep there

Google dalmunzie castle, there three cottages, we stayed in the 1 bed cottage, it's in the hills of glenshee, log fire in the main room which you sleep in as well, deers, eagles and if you go I the winter guaranteed snow! 5 minutes to the ski resort too.
