A question for Arbtalk

This could be the end of me, but here we go…

Are we hard arsed tree surgeons discussing hard arsed tree surgeon issues like Ten Men’s thread last night?

Or are we gonna spend the rest of time comparing leaf sizes, and discussing where to buy a new axle?

That thread was important in my view as it addressed real life issues.

That’s my tuppence…It’s up to you Steve.

Because if this site was nothing but tree related stuff it would end up being very boring with no variety to any of the posts threads or discussions.

I know if all I was reading was fungi and answers about wood I would get very bored and sign off from the site and find another that has the variety.

You don't have to read the leaf stuff etc . Just read what you are interested in . Simples .

You Sir are spot on. Topics will come and go, sure there will be some repetition, that is to be expected. Variety is the spice of life and ArvbTalk as well.

Oh and I did forget to add there are different forums for different subjects that people are interested in so just look through the ones that interest you. Or like me just click/tap on the today's posts tab and read what's new.

Not having a go or trying to start anything just my two pence worth is all.

Like now. Been on the G n T's down at the golf club have we Paul.

I did get nine holes in Mick:big grin: But I have thought about this for a while.

As usual I have done it wrong.

I was thinking for a long time about asking what people want out of AT and asking Steve's permission to do it....

Now I've gone and done it though haven't I:001_smile:

Personally I think arbtalk has what it needs. I could be wrong and about to be proven it but there are plenty of forums and threads to look through that cover pretty much everything.

I have noticed the chat bit hardly ever gets used (always empty when I go in there) plenty of arb shops to look through. Axe throwing at nearly every show so far, t shirts that are by far the best and most comfy I have worn lately.

Not sure there is much more the site could give unless they start charging for subscriptions to it but even then what would that add?
