Thats laminated glass bonded in with "tiger glue"' I am sure they don't make it out of tigers, they just aren't that's sticky.

 

when time permits I will get it on a weighbridge but there isn't much point till the box is made.

I had to work that day so a mate opened the workshop for the engineer.

 

He called me the next day and asked a few questions and that was that. Paid by card over the phone, report came back as PDF by email forwarded to insurer by email. All painless and simple.

IVA, things aren't that bad, do you mean SVA single vehicle approval?....didn't need one.

I'm not sure - my understanding of it was that SVA had been done away with and that only IVA existed now and they were making it very hard to comply to.

 

Good if it's not needed it - things aren't as dire as some of the rivet counters on some landy forums make out

I called the powers that be and they asked me all sorts of "is it this, is it that" questions, the answer to all was no so the nice lady said unless the answer to any was yes then no inspection was needed.
