I do a lot of walking and I know how it feels to have that last ten mile daunt on you.............

 

It's all worth the pain to see someone one else benefit ..... nice one mate have a pint on me......great effort.

I was reading an article on the human body once and they recon that evolution has designed the human body to walk 80 mile a day??? is technology really stopped us from evolving ....

Walk was completed yesterday.

 

Went very well on saturday and sunday, did about 30 miles each day, weather was very good, with just a bit of rain for the last 5 miles on sunday.

 

Monday was a very different day, shocking weather, but we had come too far to not finish, I'm relatively new to distance walking, I was only wearing cotton "T"shirts and cotton sorts, my water proof was only a cheap one and I was not wearing a hat.

 

Long story short, we got finished, but I almost got hypothermia:blushing:

 

I learnt a lot of lessens yesterday and will be investing proper good quality walking clothes in the future.

 

We have so far raised over £3000!! which is fantastic!!!

 

Massive thank you to all of you who contributed, I can guarantee that every penny will real help some one in real need!!!!
