Anyone else snowed off today?

Turned up to start a week's worth on day rate, and understandably the client wasn't that keen. Agreed to wait till tomorrow.

Got covered in snow and cold just walking the groundie through the job.

Who's up for an online tea drinking competition?

I'm looking out my window from my warm living room and all i see is the perfect working weather. I can't wait for tomorrow when i get back to it, i just hope the cold snap lasts a bit longer so i get to enjoy it.

But since i'm here i'll go warm the coffee machine up.

1st coffee went cold while I was on some dodgy arb website....

Weather has brightened right up now! Typical! Might see if the client wants half a day...

Its always the way, I prefer to start no matter how bleak and see if the weather improves, as to go home then go back is a pain, usually once i'm settled in i don't want to go out again.

Moving on to second cup,,,,

Had a "down only" Spruce fell one street away from me this morning.-12 at my front door when I left at 8.30,-5deg and sunny now.

This is the Fjord in front of my flat, the fresh water sits upon the salt water and freezes. But not thick enough to walk on.
