What's people's view on the newer defenders? 10 too 14 plate, I keep hankering after a 110 crew cab hardtop but for the life of me I don't know why! I had an early 90 defender and a 300 tdi disco and both were v reliable (90 leaked oil) but I always wonder what the new defenders are like if you take into account the disco 3/4 nightmares.

Nice one be interested to see if it makes a difference. Going to get the kit, blanking plates and silicone intercooler pipes. Hope it all goes well!

I know someone with a 90 on a 2014 plate and they love it. 110 crew cabs don't know about them?

HI IAN I was told that the newer LR have gone up by 20% to as there's no new ones around to order thanks Jon

Don't surprise me at all Jon, think it's gone a bit silly really. Panic buying Defenders for the sake of it. Wait till the new ones are out, price of the 'old shape' will soon go down. Clever marketing by Land Rover! I have been told the new Defender looks very nice! And the design has been signed off.
