Well, it's official, after years of being surrounded by them in one shape or nother, I've no got no Landrovers at all.

Was a bit surreal watching my little old 90 riding away on the back of a lorry at 6am this morning, but not half as hard as I thought it was going to be which makes me think it was the right time.

I'd been putting it off for longer than I should have been but it just didn't do all that I needed it to any more - I've gone Japanese again (a delica of all things) and so far it's been going well, it was susrpising just how quickly I got used to being warm, dry and comfy

Traitor!

Imagine how little you will ever know about how the delica works, because it probably will keep on doing so

The parting shot from the landrover was to make the Delica keep blowing the fuse for the fan - 10 minutes and £20 for a second hand one and it's sorted.

Thought selling the landy was going to be a rght carry on, but it was on ebay for less than an hour before I'd taken a deposit on it, it was picked up a day later and I didn't have to deal with any of the usual ebay buyers :thumbup1:

Chaps I have just read that a weird whistling turbo under power can be a warped manifold, broken nuts? am I worrying too much or am I due a trip down the mechanics? Thing is its done it since I bought my landy back in march but after reading this I thought I would ask the question

Thankyou

My td5 did this after the ecu was tweaked. Two studs snapped off. Had the manifold machined flat and bought stronger studs and nuts off ebay. Quite common on td5 especially if the ecu is tweaked as it makes it run a bit hotter.

I guess this is the right place to be asking since I'm in the market for a 300tdi disco....

What should I look for when inspecting a possible disco? I know rust is a issue, but where exactly? I know about the boot floor, bulkhead and arches, but more help would be needed :)
