The whole unit is called a universal joint or UJ.

 

Each UJ has 2 yokes and a "spider" or "cross" in between, each one has four caps containing needle bearings

What rubber plate?

 

If that's the splined end you can just get a used unit complete.

I see what you guys mean! the yoke is tough to find! found a TD5 prop for 100, is that really my only option?

Terrafirma double cardan prop? Maybe speaking to a landy parts specialist like paddocks would get you what's needed. Looks like it failed good and proper. Zip ties and duct tape not work for now?

That is one heck of a failure, out of interest is your land rover been lifted? I lifted mine and I put a wide angled prop shaft on the front and a spacer as the UJ's were quite tight, changed as a precaution.
