Started my defender the other day and it started first thing even after being stood for 3-4 months :thumbup1: Brilliant

You'll have to bob down so I can have a mosey or I could saunter up to have a look at some point.

Any pics?

Not doing anymore to it. Selling it on as project. Other priorities soon

Anyone got any knowledge of 110 utility SW HMRC tax / road fund licence status? It seems ludicrous that a 110 is classed as PLG and a 90 would be classed as light commercial. If I understand correctly, 110 utility SW pre 2009 are PLG, post 2009 are light commercial meaning they can be claimed as capital expenditure on tax return and have a considerably lower road fund licence cost.

Scala rider, which are simply what bikers use, they are ok but distance is a problem some times when she goes out of sight the signal tends to dissapear which is a nuisance.

That early disco is the same as a defender , just a a bit more rounded and with miastro van bits on it . It's more then likely the hand brake warning switch. Either sticking , so needs a clean , or it could be warn and just making a connection randomly.

Just discovered I have bent the tracking rod on my defender at some point!! Going to replace it with a heavy duty one from Paddock spares. Thought the steering felt out. Anyone else had this?

Paddock's only 8 miles from us, my friend spends loads of time fetching bits from there. He's bent his front shocks so that is going to cost him after Christmas.
