Fitted her out with some lovely sound deadening today. Acoustic matting, marine ply and carpet... cut out around half the noise when driving. Reccomend it to anyone with a hard top! The one on the right is finished, the board on the left still needs the headlining sorting in this picture. I also need some new seat covers as they don't really fit. More bloody money  However, got some old school bull bars and x2 Wipac spots for the grand price of £5.61 today ::thumbup:

Today was the first part of fitting a sound system. Bought some genuine land rover speakers from ebay and fitted them in a custom made () housing in the back, I hate cutting holes in dash boards/headlinings, plus one of the in-windscreen aerials - just waiting for the head unit to turn up now and we are cooking on gas.

Just bought myself a 110 high capacity with the intention of converting to a tipper just wondered if anyone has used the standard landie tub and mounted it to a subframe affair ???

Speak to Treequip (who has done a conversion) and search posts by armchairarborist (who owns said conversion)

That was a good find Sam. I am sure SVO actually produced 150 inch chassis, they waited until they had orders from the utilities for a dozen and then made a batch so it should be a genuine 150 inch wheelbase. Probably quite rare as well.
