Tis Gray Git...the slow platform ride gives you a glimpse of the climber ahead of him...memory ran out on the final limbwalk...still gives you an idea of how "branch blind" you can get when you suddenly arrive in the crown...watch in HD...

Twas very disorientating when you got to the top after having it all planed out from the bottom, after climbing on bluetongue and a pullysaver to go to a thicker rope and over a tight bend high friction anchor was very noticeable.

Platform was sooooo slow compared to the 1ns I'm used too.

Enjoyed the climb emensly but drowned the plumb line because I was rushing.

Big thanks to everyone who organised it, silky for lending me his gopro and putting it up on YouTube and a lad who I never met before for lending me 4 carabiner after the gates on mine failed the safety check for mot closing fully:$

Cleaned then today and all good again

Hey John well done on your climb, quick question... how do you clean your carabiners? one of my steel lowering rope ones wasn't closing naturally!

I think Silky's video will give a lot of encouragement for others to do the competition, 'cos it looks quite fun actually!

"Wrong limb" love it

Seriously well done! It looked really disorientating, and totally different from the ground.

Shame about that top anchor and rope, I wonder why you couldn't use your own rope and pulley?

It gives me more confidence to have a try next year. Nice one Jon.

Needed a 45m rope as anchor point was 41m up and most people's ropes are only 37 which could result in a few bust legs and i would think it wouldn't take a lot to run the ropes through a pulley to improve the bend radius.

Graham, top lad, so modest with a sound head on his shoulder's and a lovely lass in tow to keep him under control.

Definitely 1 to watch!

Not yet an arbtalker but his good Lass says she will set him up so hopefully see something from him soon.

I would put money on Graham being the uk&i tcc champ sometime in the future, he's only 19? and already an awesome climber
