So for the next few weeks it's back to indoor life, making sure my folks are safe.Doing chores around the house.Working out with Dumbells the occasional bike ride and walking the dog around the empty riverbanks. Not much change in my routine then.I'm not complaining?

Which brings me up to Sunday. For me this puts a lot of what has happened this year into perspective.2020 for me hasn't been about a Virus,Pandemic, economy, politics etc... rather about society and peoples attitude to each other and their priorities. But I don't dwell on it.On a personal level i have had much worse years as mankind has.Much worse. As I stood in silence at the Memorial to the Durham Light Infantry. No parade or speech this year. But this gave me even more to contemplate. And remember the Millions who have suffered more hardship than i can ever imagine.

Right at this moment I can hear a bird beginning to sing in the darkness. Not the usual sound of traffic which starts about now although I have been awake since 2.30 a.m  Like a lot of people my body clock is right out of sync of late. But that's ok,I don't have to be on site until 9?? I can always go back to sleep for a bit...but I love the serenity....and the silence.
