Met an old school mate today (through a generic social networking site [facebook]) and when I was talking bout what I did for a living, he remarked something about how I must have a Land Rover Defender. "cos all tree fellers do".

I didnt know what he was talking about, then came home and found 15 pages of you guys playing right into the stereotype.

 

 

I feel I must now do the same. Anyone wanna swap a 52plate Mercedes SL32 AMG supercharged w/turbo?????

i'll post our two work land rovers soon (90 and 110), but this is our 1948 Series 1, one of the first ever made i thinks

 

 

I have a hankering for a series one in my life.

Well the doublecab has gone and in its place is this...

I have a hankering for a series one in my life.

ha its nice to own one, we have started restoring it fully, at the moment it doesnt have the origanal engine, thats in the shed, to put it in short years ago the landy was driven through a lot of floods, and its never been the same haha. So we have just got an other engine in now, we will put the orginal back in some day.

 

We still use that for work on occasions, normally when the 110 is at the garage...
