Sugru. Awesome Stuff!!

I got this stuff to make some modifications to a rifle stock, I have so far used it to fix a broken wire on my phone car charger,

attaching a ceramic name plate to a rock at the end of my drive,

Sticking a new wing mirror onto the transit,

and making a comb raiser on a plastic rifle stock.

Tomorrow I am using it to repair a hole in the sump on my chipper (isuzu want £300 for a new one!)

It seems to stick to anything and yet doesn't really stick to skin, its like play dough in consistency, so is dead easy to work...

I have a 357 that runs lovely, only problem is it has a hole/crack at the front on the cast and so leaks chain oil rendering it useless. Do you think sugru would repair this? or does anyone else know of anything?

Quicksteel will repair it, look at the post above. Im sure there is lots of stuff on the market these days that will do the job.

JB weld should do it ok - used it on a motorbike casing in the past and that's similar stuff.
