I can see the foxs lining up with spotted hankies tied around their necks, a knife and fork in each paw, and licking their lips:D

Just ordered an automatic door opener/closer for our next batch of woodland chucks. Hopefully they will get the idea quickly and get inside as soon as the motor starts to make a noise.

The guy I got my chickens from reckons those fences are very effective and he's not had one get in yet.

 

Anyone here had any problems with em ?

I've seen a fox go up to the fence and get within a few feet. But then he slowly walked away. We've been told they can sense the electric fence and it deters them. It gives a hell of a belt so if they do get a zap they will learn quick enough. The fence is recommended by Kelly bronze for this purpose and its been good for us. Easy to move around. It's hooked up to the mains too!
