I have rare breed black and white turkeys in a steel cage pen with wire over the top and dug in wire round the base. They go into the block shed at night though. They are not for Christmas but mey breeding stock. I raise th epoiults and sell them. We have foxes around but the dogs hunt them with a vengeance if they get a scent of one. Neighbouring farmer poisions them with lead at high velocity. The damage tehy can do is not good to see.
