Just got one of these from Lidl but wondering where you get new discs from. Yes ...they're 104mm. Anyone have any ideas?

If you are only using it occasionally I wouldn't worry about the discs yet they last ages. A shop near us sells a similar grinder which uses the same size discs and they usually have spares in stock. Amazon sells them if you are looking for online supplies.

Had mine a couple of yrs now, excellant on damaged chains, discs all same size seems to me, fitted a disc off my Oregon on the bar sharpener to do .325 chains , think the one that comes with it does 3/8 type 91. All available on Amazon 3/8 .325 .404

The list of sizes excludes .404 . Can this be done wirh this grinder somehow? Always sharpen my chainsaws by hand , but the lucas mill with 190 links gives me blisters every time. !!

I dress the wheel with the edge of an old diamond cutting disc now and again as it losses the square edge. If you dress it you get more Sparks and less heat when sharpening your chains. I can't remember if I have sharpened little 3/8 picco chains any one done these ? I sharpened next doors chain and it was so blunt it may as well have been on backwards.

Was that before or after you sharpened it ? :laugh1: I did one on my friend's electric saw and the angles and tooth lengths were all over the place and it practically cut round corners before it was done.

a little carefull dressing and shaping with a diamond stick and the profile can be altered to do any chain, I have one permantly set up for doing 3/8 picco milling chains, and another for 325 cross cutting
