Perfect thank you sir, been messing about with cheapy ones and they are just naff, these seem to be more like it

Like others said, still worth looking at the Nalgene ones. I've always had SIGG myself in the past, and while better than some of the cheap stuff, they still get dented easily.

Similar to the SIGG but a bit cheaper can be bought from Decathlon stores. Its there own Quechua make. They do 1l bottles for about 6.99 and a two litre for 9.99 (I think).

Very robust, had one for about 5yrs, a few dings and dents but still water tight and used every day.

If there is'nt a Decathlon near you, you can get them online.

1L BPA free wide mouth Nalgenes are brilliant.

When I'm mountaineering in cold areas I carry 2 and fill 1 with boiling water to use as hot water bottles in your doss bag, then it's drinking water then next day. They are the only bottles i would trust not to leak which in a down bag at -30C could be a tad inconvienient to say the least.
