Was anyone fortunate enough to not have the 'what's the best way to cook roast potatoes' conversation?

In my experience it is a universal constant, whenever roast potatoes are served to a family gathering.

You'd think that human civilisation would have had enough time to reach some form of generally accepted consensus by now!?

It wasn’t mentioned, mainly because I told them all last year that goose fat is the only way to roast a tattle!

Turkey fat this year because the shopping elf forgot goose fat nd I'd cooked the turkey Christmas eve so all the juices had separate nd left a nice skim of fat so waste not want not, very tasty was the general concensus.

My roasters are usually what lets me down, this year they were perfect and done in goose fat.

Parboiling went a bit wrong though so the first batch ended up as the mash. :D
