Spoons

Bought a Nick Westermann spoon knife and a litlle mora jobbie at woodfest..

 

got hold of a bit of cherry and knocked out these. They need oiling - going to have to wait until spoonfest to get hold of some decent linseed...

 

Happy days ....

I recently used walnut oil (Asda oil bitty) and poured it in a zip lock bag with a holly kuksa.

 

I soaked in well and seemed to dry quickly once out of the bag.

 

Not as oilly to the touch and I also think it does not have the same strength of smell that linseed oil has.

 

Was fairly cheap, easilly available and is obviously food safe.
