Cock up

Nice. It is hard to weigh up a job like that from a photo or two. Obviously everyone on here feels they could easily do it in a day, which is probably the case, and they would be happy with a certain amount for that day's work. I would always put enough on a job like that to cover going back if neccessary, that way you dont lose out if there is an unforeseen problem, and if you are correct and its an easy day, then you're quids in.

Thats great if your not quoting against anyone else, but if you are and they just put in a day, then they will win the job.

.............Anyway for the record I charged £1050..........Shock Horror!!! I can hear you all saying.

Please don't take this as a dig:001_smile:

Could you tell me how you arrived at that price?

I think pricing work is one of the hardest parts of our job.

And I am aways keen to hear how others go about pricing.

If I was going to put top dollar on a job like that a may have thought,

1 Top climber 1 day = £300

2 Sh1t hot groundies 1 day at £150 each = £300

So I would find it hard to get a price of more than £600, as every thing was staying on site, not even being chipped.

charge what you feel a job is worth.

Dont see how cheap you can do it for but how much its worth doing it.

If you hurt your self and cant work ever again £1050 is peanuts too many undercutters ruining our biz.

so true so many cowboys brashing down in pickups & tipping somwere ? its frustrating when your going to the expence to do the job right & been under cut by flash harry & co for cash no questions asked what some folk dont realies is the bread they take should be filling are basket ?thoughts.
