Been clearing a culvert today. The showers avoided us but the big lump of torrential rain didn't. Luckily we had finished by then and watched our hard work work to its fullest potential. We cleared the arch 4 times the starting width which is why the rec flooded everytime a gnat urinated up stream. Now it is flowing nice and freely... for now. So yes i did get soaked.

You guys are having a lot of rain eh. We are needing some. Not complaining, but 4 months dry sunny and only 7 rainy days means it's very dry here in the islands. At least the wind has finally kicked in so I might get out windsurfing today..

Went out with the mulcher and started a construction site clearance at 9.00am, finished at 12.30pm and earned a nice 4 figure sum. No rain - until I'd finished, and a good days work. I'll do 3 days a week at this rate!!! On the down side I'm back on the peat bog / grouse moor on Monday mashing up lodgepole and dodging wet holes.
