I've watched them all from the start and while I'm a fan they do make a big deal out of things, and they have never heard of health and safety

Some of the things they do, my god we would get shut down in seconds. Take last nights show, Shelby bit the head of a cotton mouth snake, well we would have the RSPCA and English Nature down on us like a tonne of bricks, Gabe shutting the road with no traffic control or signs!! We would be getting a proper roasting.

Theres a program called Extreme Loggers starting this Wednesday at 9pm on Quest. Not sure if it's an old program or fairly recent - I haven't seen it before. Just thought I'd give people a heads up.

it looks like a mixture of clips from axe men and heli loggers and that other one where the bloke recovers wood that has been under water for years

It's a new series, I've got to say it bored the poo out of me last week. It is a boring programme, it shows what forestry work is really like and the mundain workstyle it really is but axmen is way better even if most is staged.

I saw one episode were Shelby was up to his chest in water with his big Stihl running trying to cut a big log free from the mud ! I think they tried to blow it up in the end with home made bombs !
