What do people do in their spare time ?

I'm normally at home falling asleep on the sofa with the iPad on my lap with arbtalk on the screen.

Then I get rudely woken by my son jumping on me telling me it's his bedtime, then somewhere I forget what I've done because the alarm clock is buzzing in my ear.

Spare time is for when you are dead. Plenty of time then.

And what's this holiday thing everyone keeps going on about? I had a week this year and it was the first holiday since 2002. And that was a week in Cyprus.

Im trying to find a hobby to try and balance my work but I usually get bored of them very quickly. although I read quite alot in the evening mostly history and national geographic and like walking on the moors with my dog, I consider my work a hobby too as I enjoy it so much else I wouldn't do it. Occasionly go to the pub after work, play the guitar reasonably well. I love landrovers but dislike working on them unless its fairly straightforwards.

Try to go Thaiboxing when I have the time and energy. As much snowboarding in the winter as I can get in. Both seem to be getting less and less though as a 5 year and 1 year old boys take up most of the rest of my spare time.

its a fact a busy person gets to do more in their spare time than someone who has all the time in the world.

I always had hobbies, far too many but one has to keep going & them little grey cells active:001_tt2:

Ornithology takes up every second as does family.

Then there is always Axmen to watch on telly but it only leaves me asking so many more questions at the end of the program like why or how do they live so long to start shaving:confused1:

Not into any ball games and think a total waste of time and energy but have had the odd session of pocket billiards :001_tt2:
