What do people do in their spare time ?

hi all bit of a random one as we all as tree surgons we all work outside for long periods of time but what do you guys enjoy doing out side of work, I am a very outdoor person and thats what got me into the industry. joining the scouting movement was one of the biggest things i joing in 1999 as a small kid and have never left it has tought me so many things. I also go rock climbing and am a rock climbing instructor taking trips all around the uk. finally i do lots of hikes most weekends inculing back to basic camps staying in hammocks and other sort of shelters. free time can be quite limited but its all good fun. so what do you guys do in your spare time?? pictures are always good as well.

I cut trees down all day, then I come home and talk on the Internet about cutting trees down, THEN when I turn the TV on, I watch programmes about cutting trees down.

Spare time? I used to race bikes now it just gets in the way when we're loading up of a morning!

I have 7 hours a day where I not working, at the moment I use that time for sleeping but I suppose I could find a hobby instead.

During the summer I spend my free time in the garden, burning insects with a magnify glass. In the winter when the sun has less power I consolidate myself pulling spiders legs off.

Whats this "spare time"?

 

I believe this spare time thing can add up to something else called a holiday or vacation?. I like to ride my bike when I have any spare time, year round weather permits it, long work days make it very challenging at times.
