Cool:biggrin:

I ask as i'm thinking about taking on a fundraiser and could do with knowing the average time it takes (on fairly even flat ground) to cycle 20 miles, as if i do, do it (the fundraiser), i'm going to have to complete about 20 A DAY for the next 200 days

It might even be doable on an exercise bike, especially over winter

I just strated barefoot too my calfs are better for it i found but i done some preparation like walking barefoot and doing feet exercised help, found that my feet hurt as i was using muscles in them not normally used. I'm flatfooted and my feet are really wide and i damaged heel tissue jumping off a roof so found the running stance helps with pain i usually felt when running.

So here we go again.

In the morning 2 of us are setting of at 0630 to ride the 32 miles to Newcastle racecourse to take part in the Newcastle Stampede, a 10km muddy obstacle course, then riding the 32 miles back. Id like to say its going to be fun, but im not so sure. I know times are hard for everyone and the support for my last sponsored event was gratefully received, but if you guys and galls could put a couple of quid down again then the pain and misery will have been worth it.
