Isc snap lock

Anyone using one? What's your views on it. Do you find the 3 way action a pain in the back side?

I use one on my lanyard and I think they are good. Soon get used to the action of it.

Do you think it would be better if they ditched the 3 way and done 2 way? I just got one and I'm thinking of cutting of the little metal thing you have to press first so it's 2 way.

Are you not meant to use a 3 way type device on your climbing system. Ok your lanyard is a supplementary positioning aid but I'd not fancy the risk of a 2 way version.

Well all the old style snap locks on flip lines are 2 way, never had any problems with them, I don't see why they have gone 3 way.

You soon get used to the three way, I find mine fine now. Probably better off not cutting yours up!

I use a two way.

i've used the two way isc for a few years and more recently the 3 way. i thought it would be a pain but it's just as quick. you don't think every time "one catch, two catch, three". you just squeeze it and away you go. it's the carabiner you use the most in climbing so time/effort saving is worth it.
